Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche and Rolex launched a unique exhibition dedicated to the Explorer and Explorer II watches, which marked the links between Rolex and some of the greatest expeditions of the last century. Entitled "A watch born for exploration", this exhibition takes place for the first time in France, exclusively at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche from June 15 to August 14, 2020. On the program, as is often the case for Rolex’s exhibitions, illustrated panels and videos allow visitors to discover the unique evolution of the Explorer, launched in 1953 in tribute to the conquest of the Everest’s summit by an expedition equipped with Oyster Perpetual watches.
