As part of her summer cruise with the Royal Ship Dannebrog, her Majesty the Queen visited Salling in Aarhus Saturday 4th of June. CEO Marianne Bedsted welcomed H.M. the Queen who was introduced to Salling ROOFTOP. Her Majesty also had the opportunity, as the very first guest, to experience the new Salling ROOFGARDEN, which will open to the public on 17th of June. Salling ROOFTOP has since the opening in 2017 had more than 4 million visitors and has established itself as one of Denmark's biggest attractions. The brand new Salling ROOFGARDEN is a 1400m2 extension and a completely unique green area at the top of Salling. It includes gardens with lush planting as well as trees up to 6m of height, small bridges, sky-swings, sun spots, art installations and a skyview platform 35m above street level with panoramic views over the bay of Aarhus.
