Matsuzakaya Department Store (J. Front Retailing) in Nagoya is offering domestic tour packages that let travellers avoid crowded airliners and trains during these pandemic times. The three-day, two-night travel package, targeting wealthy shoppers, starts at about JPNY2 mn ($18,200) per person for a group of four. Participants will board a private jet at the Aichi Prefecture-run Nagoya Airport to travel to their destination. From the airport at their destination, they can arrange for a helicopter to take them to their hotel. Suggested destinations include Niseko in Hokkaido and the Huis Ten Bosch theme park in Nagasaki Prefecture. The travellers can choose dates and other details to customize their itineraries.
