Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof is closing on 22nd June 106 travel agencies taken over from Thomas Cook. Up to 440 employees will lose their jobs. The future of the 78 Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof's remaining travel agencies is also uncertain, as 80 of the 172 department store branches that are currently subject to a protective shield process may also close.
