‘Scan and Pay’ allows customers to buy and pay from their cell phones, without having to go through a checkout, making the shopping experience faster and more efficient. They can also use the Fpay application. With the goal to optimize the shopping experience, the company also implemented self-service checkouts and the payment system with assistants through iPads. In some of the stores, 70% of payment transactions are already carried out with self-service modalities.
