Falabella recorded total sales in the third quarter, of the physical and online channel, of US$4,091mn, which means a growth of 23% in the region. This was the result of a 40% growth in sales in physical stores and the resumption of operations in international stores, especially in Peru and Colombia. During the Q3/2021 (between July and September), the Chilean group Falabella registered profits equivalent to US$228.5mn due to a better result of its retail business in Chile and due to the banking activity in Chile and Peru. This figure exceeds the US$5mn recorded in the same period of 2020. Likewise, Falabella consolidated revenues reached US$3,572mn, which represents a growth of 16.7% compared to the previous year. The company said this is due to rising revenues from home improvement businesses and department stores in the region. Ebitda was US$480mn, with an increase of 117.5% due to the contribution of the retail operations in Chile, the real estate business and the banking businesses in Chile and Peru. E-commerce sales reached $ 812mn Q3.
