In the first quarter of 2021, the sale of the Palacio de Hierro Group reached P6188mn (US$ 306mn), presenting a decrease of 9.6% compared to the same quarter of 2020. Income of the commercial division decreased 8.1% compared to 2020 derived from limited hours and capacity due to the global contingency caused by Covid-19. Income before financial expenses, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Uafida) presented a decrease compared to the same quarter of 2020 of 86.4% and represents 1.7% of sales. In turn, the accumulated net loss represents 7.0% of sales. Grupo Palacio de Hierro, S.A.B. de C.V., aims to act as a holder of shares in other companies.
