The company has commissioned BNP Paribas to divest non-strategic logistics assets. Specifically, El Corte Inglés intends to dispose of around 500,000 logistics m2 spread over 12 assets and for which the company hopes to obtain €80mn. The vast majority of this portfolio are industrial properties, including a 70,000 m2 warehouse already built. This is not the first time the group has tried to get rid of some m2 of its logistics portfolio, as both attempts in 2016 and 2019 were unsuccessful.
