Sustainability
  • Background: April is all about sustainability at Jelmoli. From April 11th to 29th, the department store will put its sustainable brands and products in the spotlight during the '19 Days of Green Power' campaign. In the past, Jelmoli has done several campaigns of starting The Green Act project in March 2021.
  • Execution: Many highlights await customers, such as the collaboration with the ZHdK, an upcycling studio and a raffle with REAWAKE, a pop-up by the children's second-hand provider Ingrid & Emil, fashion for rent with Ragfair and various personalization services. On Earth Day in particular, on Saturday, April 22nd, sustainability will be made visible and tangible with a wide range of brands and partners. Products and brands that are listed as sustainable by Jelmoli can also be identified using the ‘Sustainable Label’.
  • Results: The 19 days were based on the 190-year anniversary, which Jelmoli began to celebrate in March with the first collaborations. Another focus project of the campaign was created with the renowned Zurich University of the Arts. From April 11 to 29, works by ZHdK students will be presented at Jelmoli on the topic of consumption and sustainability. Petroleum, packaging material, plastic and water columns - presentations in the shop windows and on the sales floor show the consequences of consumption for the environment
