The American functional sports brand Under Armour opened a brand house in Wangfujing, Dongcheng district in Beijing on January 18, cementing its commitment to further expanding in the Chinese advanced sports market. The new store covers over 1,800 square meters and is the largest Under Armour store in Asia. It is also the brand's fifth store over 1,000 square meters in China. The other three are in Shanghai, Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province, Wuhan in Hubei Province and Shenzhen in Guangdong Province. The Wangfujing store contains a golf experience zone, which is very rare in the brand's other stores worldwide. The products that are available in the store are diverse, ranging from basketball shoes to golf clubs. Former Chinese track and field athlete Shi Dongpeng also attended the event and shared his story of perseverance in sports with the audience, complimenting Under Armour's spirit of "I WILL."
