Selfridges has opened the pop-up space in its London Foodhall to showcase a range of exciting food industry talent. Throughout the year, Selfridges will collaborate with a number of street food brands and chefs. Over the period, the vendors and chefs taking the spotlight will change. Pabellón, a Venezuelan street food brand, will be the first brand to start, offering guests a number of delicacies including Arepa, Sweet Potato Tempura and Pabellon – a traditional Venezuelan rice bowl. This residency has taken different dietary requirements into consideration as dishes on the pop-up menu can be made vegan or vegetarian and everything is gluten free and is served in ‘sustainable packaging’. In line with government guidelines, the Pop-Up Kitchen at Selfridges will only operate a takeaway service during standard opening hours.
