Saks Fifth Avenue Beverly Hill store will launch an exclusive, limited-edition partnership with Sabyasachi, a leading luxury fashion house from India. Sabyasachi is a rich collection of clothing by Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, who launched his line in India in 1999 and pioneered the use of high-end luxury Indian textiles fashioned into modern looks.
The presentation, available March 5 to 16, will showcase a red carpet capsule collection called Cinématique, curated specifically for the Saks partnership. It includes couture, women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, and jewelry, including a selection of one-of-a-kind high jewelry pieces. The collection is inspired by Bollywood, the private clubs of Kolkata and the Nizam of Hyderabad. Elaborate visual installations of the brand will be set up around the five-story structure. Sabyasachi will also be taking over three styling suites from March 8 to 10 on the fifth floor of the store where the Indian designer will host private appointments with clients. Sabyasachi, which has stores in India and Dubai and a flagship with 31 chandeliers in New York City, has collaborated with several major international brands including Christian Louboutin, H&M, and Morgenthal Frederics.
