Between 2005 and 2022, the department store owned by Central Group tripled its turnover. A growth that should soon lead to the €1bn milestone, according to the company. 40% of the takings come from the Milan store, the most profitable of the nine Italian stores. The department stores attract 17mn visitors every year, of which 10mn (including 35% foreigners) in Milan. The company has 3,618 employees; 78% are women and half of top managers are female.
