Rinascente reaches the historic milestone of €1bn in turnover in 2023, with an increase of +16% vs 2022 and +14% vs the record year 2019. This success is the result of a strategy that touches all aspects of the business, such as the renovation of the stores and the brand mix, the introduction of large thematic commercial operations, the launch of the new Loyalty program, the creation of large events and special projects in collaboration with brand partners. Between 2017, with the opening of the flagship in Rome via del Tritone, and 2023, the stores in Turin, Florence and Rome Piazza Fiume were completely renovated and all the floors of Milan Duomo were totally or partially renovated.


Thanks to substantial investments, constant work on the brand mix, and great attention to service, all nine stores in the collection are progressing at double digits, as are all product categories, with particular focus on the world of luxury accessories +28% and beauty +30%. In 2023, visitors will reach 21mn plus a further 20mn visitors to the e-commerce site. In recent years, Rinascente has increasingly invested in an omnichannel strategy that includes both e-commerce launched in 2020 and the On Demand Chat&Shop service which allows customers to purchase the vast assortment of products via WhatsApp. In 2023 the Omnichannel sector achieved over €45mn in turnover.
