Kastner & Öhler are hoping for the Christmas business to start after reopening its doors again after the fourth Corona-related lockdown in Austria by opening its flagship in Grazer Sackstrasse amongst other stores (including Gigasport) in 34 locations in Austria. The most recent three-week lockdown alone brought the company a substantial drop in sales in the double-digit million range. Fortunately, Kastner & Öhler’s online business has developed better than expected and now accounts for 20% of sales. In sports in particular, business was even better than expected.
