In conjunction with the Berlin Masters Foundation, KaDeWe is providing up-and-coming, Berlin-based artists with an exhibition space ‘Living with the Arts’ for the first time, allowing them to present their work in public. The young artists’ contemporary artworks complement the room installations designed by the agency Double Standards – and serve up new and surprising interior visions. Ten artists are adding their works to the lifestyle and interior spaces, which have been designed exclusively for KaDeWe: The Balcony by Carla Chan, The Sitting Room by Bianca Kennedy, winner of the TOY BERLIN MASTERS AWARD 2019, The Teen Room by Marta Vovk, The Living Room by Andy Kassier, The Bathroom by Ole Meergans, The Laundry by Evelyn Bencicova, winner of the BERLIN MASTERS SCHLIEMANN RESIDENCY 2020, The Kitchen by Lena Marie Emrich, winner of the TOY BERLIN MASTERS AWARD 2020, The Home Office by Lukas Liese, The Sauna by Billie Clarken and The Walk-In Closet by Isaac Chong Wai. The window exhibition runs from 20 October to 14 November at KaDeWe.
