Under the motto ‘With us, not for us’, insieme21 is celebrating World Down Syndrome Day this year, which takes place on March 21. In the run-up to this, a very special fashion show took place at Jelmoli last Saturday, March 18. People with trisomy 21 presented the latest spring trends. The fashion show was organized by Karina Berger and hosted by Stephan Lendi and Manuela Frey. Insieme21 is an association that supports affected people, parents and relatives of people with trisomy21 in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. Last year, Jelmoli supported the association with a generous donation as part of Giving Tuesday, and self-advocates of Insieme21 actively supported the Jelmoli team in sales during the Christmas business.
