Moving towards to a new holiday season, Globus has captured the current longing for simple luxuries and a new, pared-back aesthetic, focusing on the most precious gift of all: spending time with our loved ones and connecting on our truest level – that of love. In the new, large-format Christmas magazine, Globus takes this longing to luxurious new heights, highlighting both traditional holiday joys such as decorating the tree and adding festive touches to the home, and individual, personal takes on gifting and holiday spirit by letting some of Switzerland’s most interesting and innovative personalities share what Christmas means to them – and how they plan to express their feelings in gifts. Christmas décor with beautiful floral designs from Eastern European artisans are the inspiration for this year’s exclusive ornament collection, adding a delightful, heartfelt touch to the season. By sharing both their favourite gift ideas and personal insights on how they plan to spend their holidays, eleven Swiss personalities add a personal and highly individual layer to the upcoming festive season.

In creating a beautifully unique and dramatic window display, the talented in-house director of the Zürcher Schauspielhaus Alexander Giesche brings his own vision of Silent Night to life in all Globus department stores. The biggest feature will be Giesche’s dramatic animated visual installation of wolf prowling the entire front facade of the Globus flagship store in Zurich. It will be unveiled on November 25th, the day the official Christmas lights will be switched on along the entire length of Bahnhofstrasse (shopping street), drawing thousands of spectators every year.
