The Christmas shop at Selfridges features common city fixtures including a convenience store, newsagents, and souvenir shop, alongside nods to London, NYC, Paris and Berlin. According to Selfridges, searches for “Christmas” on the retailer’s site are up by almost 300% MoM, suggesting customers are ready for festive shopping to begin. The seasonal space also includes 1,120 baubles, lights, and tree trimmings available for purchase, a record-breaking amount of stock options for the department store. From 22 September, members of Selfridges Unlocked can show their key at the Christmas store and receive a token for a vending machine, to get Selfridges stickers with hand-illustrated designs.
