L’Oréal India unveiled its largest Beauty Skilling Center and Socio-Economic Impact Report in North Mumbai, planning to train around 3,000 individuals annually. The new Beauty Skilling Center measures an expansive 4,267sq ft (390m2) and is part of L'Oréal's flagship Beauty for a Better Life skilling program. The new facility was developed through a strategic partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry with the aim of empowering women from underserved communities by offering them sustainable routes to economic independence. In collaboration with NGOs and India’s salon industry, the facility will offer training in professional hairdressing, makeup artistry, and beauty services. L’Oréal India employs over 1,800 individuals across its headquarters in Mumbai, four regional offices, two manufacturing facilities in Maharashtra and Himachal Pradesh, and Research and Innovation facilities in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
