Italian restaurant San Carlo opened its new champagne bar at the Trafford Centre today. Situated inside Selfridges' newly relaunched accessories hall, the marble island bar is surrounded by designer handbag displays and overhung by a striking 20ft-wide chandelier made of Italian glass discs, and surrounded. Diners can take a seat on a pink leather bar stool or in one of three booths to enjoy drinks from a menu featuring more than 10 types of champagne and prosecco, and nearly 20 wines by the glass. The Trafford Centre venue is their sixth partnership with Selfridges, following the opening of rooftop restaurant Alto at the London shop last year.
