One of the most iconic places of twentieth-century Milanese culture, the former Odeon theatre, is preparing to return to new life thanks to a major restoration and enhancement project that will see the birth, in May 2027, of the Rinascente Odeon Beauty Hall.
With an investment of €36mn in total, of which 6mn for the restoration of windows, boxes, railings, proscenium arch, lamps, ceilings, floors of the foyer and the majestic royal staircase, Rinascente is committed to preserving the original elegance of the building, built between 1927 and 1931, in Art Deco style. The interior design project, by Marco Costanzi Architects, places the historical identity of the Odeon at the centre, building a bridge between the past, present and future.
The result will be a hub of over 3,000m2 dedicated to the world of beauty: make-up, skincare, fragrances, in-room services and advanced aesthetic medicine, for an immersive experience that puts the customer at the centre.
