Brown Thomas and Arnotts have stopped taking online orders ‘until a time when it is safe to start again’ in response to the latest government measures to combat the spread of COVID-19. Both retailers said they would contact customers who have already placed orders with them in the next day or. Both companies, which are owned by the Selfridges Group, announced they would close their doors to customers two weeks ago but were still operating their e-commerce stores. Brown Thomas Arnotts employ around 4,000 people.
