Paris (Cencosud), Falabella, Liverpool, Ripley and El Palacio de Hierro reached a combined turnover of $35.2bn through September, an increase of 16%. The group that boosted its revenue the most was the Liverpool, which accumulated an increase of 60.5% compared to 2024, reaching $8.145bn. It was followed at a distance by another Mexican company, El Palacio de Hierro, with growth of 12.4%, up to $2.193bn.

Among the three Chilean groups, the one that grew the most during the first nine months was Falabella, which recorded a 9.3% increase in revenue, reaching $10.163bn. The company is thus approaching its rival Cencosud, which closed the period with a turnover of $13.110, 4.2% more than the previous year. Ripley also managed to keep its revenues rising, with growth of 5.5% between January and September, reaching $1.632bn. All three Chilean department store companies sharply increased their profits in the first nine months. In total, the five largest Latin American department store groups accumulated $1.465bn in profit, 32.9% more than in the first nine months of 2024.
