With 6,500m2 of retail space, 300 brands, more than 100,000 articles and a champagne bar, Kastner & Öhler (K&Ö) opened on 17 September the largest fashion store in western Austria, in Kaufhaus Tyrol. Following an investment of €7mn and almost 7 months of renovation and expansion, the new space is transformed: the floor, ceilings, lighting and furnishings have been completely renewed, the area has been enlarged and there is now an access to the mall on the 2nd floor.

The result is a very special place - a combination of urban modernity and natural, alpine cosiness. Over three floors, the assortment ranges from a large selection of internationally known fashion and designer brands.

On the ground floor, next to women's fashion, visitors are welcomed by the 300m2 beauty department featuring international top brands from Chanel, Dior, Lancôme or Armani. A dedicated beauty lounge with special treatments should open as soon as the C19 measures are lifted. One highlight on this floor is the selection of accessories with brands such as Coach, MCM, Longchamp or Zamt.

The first floor takes you into the world of women's fashion with brands such as Weekend by Max Mara or Marc Cain, Closed, Hugo, Penn & Ink or American Vintage. There is also a large area dedicated to young fashion and denim. A new highlight on the floor is the K&Ö Champagne Bar.

On the 2nd floor, dedicated to men’s fashion, brands corners of Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren, Marc O’Polo, Joop and Boss impress with a large selection. Jeans lovers will find brands such as Replay, Levis or G-Star. A travel department on the 2nd floor completes the offer with a selection of luggage. For a seamless shopping experience, Kastner & Öhler offers personal advice on site, personal shopping, change service, click & collect and click & reserve.

Martin Wäg, CEO of K&Ö said “It was our wish to set up a meeting place for style-conscious and fashion interested people in the heart of the Tyrolean capital”. The Kaufhaus Tyrol was opened 10 years ago by SIGNA, as one of the most modern shopping centres in Europe. Every year around 6mn customers visit the mall.
