Russia's luxury clothes and accessories retailer JamilCo plans to open Burberry's first store in the centre of Moscow on Stoleshnikov lane early next year. JamilCo and the Burberry Group, the U.K.'s luxury clothes and accessories maker, have signed a timeless exclusive distribution contract. Next summer the two companies will decide whether or not to open any more stores in Russia. Burberry is 75% controlled by retail and financial information conglomerate GUS. Currently, JamilCo has exclusive distribution agreements with fashion houses Hermes, Christian Dior, Yohji Yamamoto, Salvatore Ferregamo, J.M. Weston, Chevignon, Naf Naf, Wolford, Palmers, Swatch, Escada, Curruti and Levi's. It also has its own brands, Red Code stores and James.
