One of Brunello Cucinelli‘s daughters, Carolina Cucinelli, has teamed with Holt Renfrew for an exclusive capsule inspired by her wardrobe and personal style. It is the latest in a series of projects Brunello Cucinelli has rolled out to solidify its partnerships with retailers. In the brand’s latest retail collaboration, Carolina Cucinelli and Joseph Tang, fashion director of Canada’s Holt Renfrew, have designed a collection meant to embody versatility and timelessness. The collection features pieces that can be worn on multiple occasions. Carolina is the co-creative director and copresident of the Brunello Cucinelli company. Her sister, Camilla, is co-head of the designer brand’s women’s style team. The styles in the Holt capsule include a warm shearling jacket inspired by the one Cucinelli wore on her first trip to Mongolia with Camilla.Other pieces in the capsule collection include chunky cashmere sweaters lightened by the use of voluminous yarns, and skirts and capes true to the brand’s affinity for knitwear. There is also outerwear in precious fibres and understated volumes; denim and cotton trousers, and knitted beanies and scarves. Colours reflect the effortless Brunello Cucinelli vibe, with classic winter neutrals — blues, beiges and whites — paired in “timeless combinations,” the company said.
