The Globus chain stores will become the owner of the Zurich Navyboot on 1 January 2019. The agreement covers trade mark rights and a 'substantial part' of shops and three 'outlets' in Switzerland. The chain of stores, formerly Schild, has been offering for many years the men's and women's fashion line Navyboot. In 2017, the banner generated a turnover of 30mn francs (€ 26.3mn) thanks to these products, with total revenues of 857mn francs (€ 752.1mn) (-2.5%). This acquisition aims to complement Globus' clothing offer with leather shoes and accessories.
