Galeria Launches New Store Concepts

On October 27, 2021, Galeria re-opened its stores in Frankfurt am Main, Kassel and Kleve under the new GALERIA brand, following important investments. The three stores are the prototypes of the retailer’s future store portfolio in Germany, which is organised under three categories: stores in metropolitan areas, regional magnets and local forums. The store in Frankfurt an der Hauptwache, in a metropolis, relies more specifically on modern brands in the premium and luxury segments. The rooftop bar and the restaurant continue to provide first-class leisure activities for people from all over the world. As a regional magnet, Kassel has an adapted range that includes both classic and modern goods. In addition, for the first time, the store is offering a service area for citizen of Kassel. This model of cooperation, which is unique in Europe, shows what opportunities municipalities and retailers can have to designing attractive city centres. As a local forum, the store in Kleve has a neighbourhood format where practical-oriented segments make up the main part of the range and, above all, features products from the region.
