Newcastle’s Fenwick department store should receive a £40mn multi-year investment makeover, with the first major investment plan to oversee the modernisation of the store to be carried out in phases over the next five years. To mark their major 140-year anniversary, the Newcastle store has put together a wide range of events including a live circus performance, Exhibition 140, an exclusive collaboration from a range of fashion brands including Edeline Lee, Rixo, Paul Smith, Never Fully Dressed and Fred Perry along with a collaboration with fashion students from Northumbria University.
