The vibrancy and optimistic colours – with lots of silver and acid brights worn head-to-toe – shone like beacons in a new 10-minute film which Brown Thomas commissioned to mark the launch of its international designer collections for autumn/winter 2021. Perry Ogden, the award-winning photographer and film-maker, created a catwalk on the move with luxury designer looks set against the stunning scenery of the Wild Atlantic Way. The catwalk show opened on a cliff edge in Kilkee, Co Clare, where the green landscape and blue ocean below was the perfect contrast to showcase Prada’s yellow wool coat. With its rounded shoulders, pleated sleeve detail and long cuffs, it has a very 1980s feel.
