Besides the online business, Breuninger is also investing in brick-and-mortar retail and is gradually upgrading its home in Nuremberg with more fashion, more premium brands and two new restaurants. Over 11,000 m2 of retail space will be redesigned by Blocher Partners; conversion work will be completed by early September 2020. The house stays open all the time and offers comprehensive protection as part of the specially developed hygiene standard to guarantee a pleasant stay and a safe shopping experience. Breuninger services will also have more space in the new store: customer service and the Click & Collect area are still available; customers can also reserve items in advance online and then try them on in the store. Separate beauty rooms can be booked for exclusive applications such as facials or beauty workshops (taking into account the current regulations, as of May 26, 2020). Customers also have access to the Breuninger change studio for individual adjustments and the Personal Shopping Service.
