On Friday, 24th of August Salling opened the new Salling Rooftop. The new attraction was celebrated with a full first week of entertainment and events. The similar rooftop at Salling's other department store situated in Aarhus rounded 1.5mn visitors within the first year. Thus, Salling Rooftop in Aarhus places itself among the country's most visited attractions. Salling Rooftop in Aalborg offers more than 1,400 sq mt. spread over two levels, accommodating a total of 500 guests. Here are some of the highlights at Rooftop:

Salling Skywalk: More than 30 meters above the ground you find "The Skywalk", offering a direct look down on Algade Torv. The skywalk is made of glass and is the source of a tickling feeling in the stomach to those who visit it.

Friday at the Top: Every Friday between 16h00 and 19h00, until 19th of Oct, Salling invites you to Friday at the Top with cocktails, DJ and a final atmosphere. The first Friday at the Top was on August 24th.

Nice lounge areas with sky bar: On the top level, the Salling ROOFTOP is furnished with cozy lounge areas and a sky bar that serves cocktails, wine and tapas.

Væksthuset: On the lower level you can find Væksthuset (the Greenhouse), offering a view of both the city and the fjord (inlet). It offers 70 indoor seats and a café.
